Ham and Vegetable Soup

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Swiss Valley Farms butter
    2 cups shredded green cabbage
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dill weed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 cups Swiss Valley Farms milk
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed chicken broth
  • undiluted
    1 pkg. (10 oz/) frozen cauliflower
  • slightly thawed and cut into small pieces
    1 cup thinly sliced carrots
    1 pkg. (2.5 oz.) thinly sliced smoked ham
  • chopped

Melt better in 3-qt saucepan. Saut? cabbage and onion until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour and seasonings until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and condensed broth. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in cauliflower, carrots and ham. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 15 minutes.
