Never Fail Custard Pie

  • 3 eggs (well beaten)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cup scalded Swiss Valley Farms milk

Thoroughly mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Add to hot milk. Pour at once into unbaked pie tin shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 10 minutes at 475° F. Reduce heat to 425° F for 5 minutes. Pie should be completely baked in 15 minutes.
