Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 6 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Directions
Mix sugar, butter, and oil thoroughly until fluffy. Add 2 eggs, add one at a time and beat in vanilla extract. Add dry ingredients. Make into balls. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. I use a round "cookie stamp" with a cow face on it. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° F for 10 - 15 minutes. I make these for the children when they tour our farm for a field trip. Tastes great with a carton of Swiss Valley Farms milk. Yields 7 - 8 dozen cookies. Freezes great, too!
