Microwave Caramel Corn

  • 5 quarts popped corn in paper bag
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • 1/4 cup white syrup
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

In a glass bowl combine brown sugar, butter, and white syrup. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes or until it starts to boil. Stir and add baking soda and salt. Stir until foamy. Pour over the popped corn in the paper bag and shake well. Cook in microwave for 4 minutes on high, stopping to shake bag every minute. Pour into 9 x 13 cake pan and cool.
