Made in our Luana, IA facility, Swiss Valley Farms Gouda is a semi-soft cheese with a mild flavor. Young Gouda cheese tends to be very mild and buttery, but as it matures, it develops a much fuller flavor. Small eyes may be present. We cut our 100 pound Gouda blocks into 7 pound RWT sandwich cuts that are perfect for slicing applications. Packaged in a vibrant red bag to emulate the waxed coverings of traditional European Gouda, our cheese is perfect for display in the deli case.
