Broccoli and Cheese Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 cup celery (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbl Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 4 cup water
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cup frozen broccoli
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen hash browns
  • 3 cups Swiss Valley Farms milk
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded milk Cheddar cheese


Directions
In a large kettle, cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour and gradually add water. Stir in bouillon cubes and add pepper, broccoli and hash browns. Simmer on low heat until the vegetables are tender. Stir in milk and cheese, continue stirring until the cheese is melted. This is a quick and easy soup.
