Creamed Chicken & Biscuits

  • 1 1/2 tsp Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 4 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Swiss Valley Farms sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Swiss Valley Farms milk
  • 1 cup Swiss Valley Farms shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 6 frozen biscuits (thawed)

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease bottom and sides of an 11 x 7 baking dish. Chop the onion. Heat butter in small skillet. Stir in onion. Sauté until tender. Combine onion, chicken soup, sour cream and milk in medium bowl and mix well. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle baked layer with 3/4 cup cheese. Arrange biscuits in single layer over top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until biscuits are golden brown, about 20 minutes.
