  • 6 slices day-old bread
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed or shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2- 2 cups cubed ham
  • 6 eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups Swiss Valley Farms milk
  • 2 tbl Swiss Valley Farms butter (melted)

Cut bread in small cubes. Alternate layers of bread cubes, cheese and ham in a 2-quart casserole dish. Blend together egg, milk and seasonings. Pour egg mixture over bread, cheese and ham. Put melted butter on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 325° F oven for 1 hour, or until golden brown.
