Saut? mushrooms, onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in soup, milk, pimento and basil. Arrange 4 uncooked lasagna noodles over bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Top with half of the sauce, half of the cottage cheese, half of the chicken, half of the Cheddar, the remaining cottage cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese. Add 4 more noodles and repeat the layers of sauce, chicken, Cheddar and Parmesan. Pour 1/3 cup of water around the rim of the pan. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 additional minutes. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting to serve.
