Crunchy Oven-Baked Chicken

  • 3/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
    1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
    1/2 cup toasted finely chopped walnuts
    2 eggs
  • beaten
    1 cup Swiss Valley Farms buttermilk
    2 large whole chicken breasts split
    3 tbsp. Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • melted

Preheat oven to 375?F. Combine bread crumbs, cheese and walnuts. Combine eggs and buttermilk; mix well. Dip each piece of chicken in crumb mixture, then buttermilk mixture and again into crumbs. Place in 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Drizzle with butter. Bake 30-35 minutes, or until chicken is tender when pierced with a fork. Serve warm or cold.
