Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta

  • 1 lb skinless
  • boneless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • 1 pkg dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • Pinch of rosemary - tarragon - cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 8 oz cream cheese with chives
  • 1 lb thin spaghetti

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt butter in large saucepan. Stir in package of Italian dressing mix. Blend in wine, herbs and soup. Stir in cream cheese. Stir until smooth. Place chicken pieces in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top with mushrooms. Pour sauce over all. Bake for 1 hour. Meanwhile, cook pasta until ala dente. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.
