Frozen Pumpkin Pie

  • One 9-inch baked pie shell
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • slightly softened
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Swiss Valley Farms whipping cream whipped
  • 1.2 cup chopped walnuts

Chill crust in freezer. Spoon ice cream evenly into bottom of crust; return to freezer to harden. Mix together pumpkin, sugar, pie spice and salt. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over ice cream layer. Top with nuts. Freeze.
