Butter Pecan Turtle Cookies

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup Swiss Valley Farms butter
    Caramel layer
    • 2/3 cup Swiss Valley Farms butter
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1 cup chopped Pecans
    • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

    Mix crust and put in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle nuts over unbaked crust. In saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter for caramel layer. Heat, stirring constantly and boil 1/2 to 1 minute. Pour over pecan and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow chips to melt slightly and then evenly spread with spatula over entire crust. Allow to cool and then cut into bars.
