Ingredients
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup Swiss Valley Farms butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar


Directions
Cream butter and sugars. Add well beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift remaining ingredients and add to first mixture. Roll into loaf and refrigerate overnight. Slice thin and bake at 350° F for 10 minutes. Yield 3 dozen cookies.
